Virgin Casino is Rebranded as Monopoly Casino

Virgin Casino, one of New Jersey’s oldest casinos has rebranded as Monopoly Casino. Although Virgin Casino has been around for over a decade, it has never been a major player in the market and parent company Bally’s Corporation made the decision to rebrand it as Monopoly Casino. They believe that the rebranding will resonate well with the US market.

Players who already have accounts at Virgin Casino will migrate seamlessly over to the Monopoly brand. The app is available to both Android and iOS users and can be downloaded with ease from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Details Behind the Revamp

Although there are not many details that have been released about the reason behind the rebranding, Virgin Casino members were sent an email from Bally to inform them of a temporary shutdown of the site. The email read,

Just a heads up, we will be temporarily offline on the evening of Tuesday, November 5th, until the afternoon of Wednesday, November 6th, as we prepare for the switchover from Virgin Casino to Monopoly Casino.

The transition will be easy for existing members, and they will use their previous credentials and log in details to sign in to the new Monopoly Casino. The new site has a different look and feel to it and many exciting new features.

What to Expect from Monopoly Casino

As you can tell from the name, the new casino features many Monopoly themed games, including a few Monopoly themed slots that have their own dedicated section. These slot games include:

• Epic Monopoly II
• Monopoly Megaways
• Monopoly Mega Movers
• Monopoly Big Event
• Monopoly: Paradise Mansion
• Monopoly: Money in Hand
• Monopoly: Rising Riches

Some other advantages that Virgin Casino players will have access to include special Monopoly rewards, the Monopoly VIP program, and Free Parking picks.

What do Existing Virgin Casino Members Need to Do?

All members who already have an active Virgin Casino account do not need to take any action. There will be no need to re-register at the new Monopoly Casino. Most of the existing information provided to Virgin Casino will be transferred over, this includes:

• Your login details (username and password)
• Your account balance, including your chosen deposit and withdrawal methods
• Any fund including bonuses and promotions claimed
• All personal details and verification
• Recent gameplay
• Self-exclusion, if applicable

It is important to note that a few Virgin Casino functions were not transferred over. This will include the player’s transaction history. If players need their transaction history, they can contact customer support and request a copy of this.

Bally’s Growth Strategy

Bally launched Monopoly Casino at the same time as their Q3 report. This report showed mixed results, but a positive was the North America Interactive Division which comprises of Bally Casino, Virgin Casino and Bally Bet sportsbook. This component grew substantially by 55% year by year.

The company did not outright state this, however New Jersey seems like it is one of the main focus states for Bally. In conjunction with the launch of Monopoly Casino, Bally Bet sportsbook went live in New Jersey, making it the 11th state that it currently operates in.
