Thunderkick Makes US Debut
Swedish slots developer Thunderkick, known for designing several high-quality online slots found at online casinos around the world, has marked its entry into the United States market through a new partnership with social casino platform High 5 Casino. The collaboration also represents Thunderkick’s first entry into the sweepstakes gaming space.
Some of Thunderkick’s most popular casino games and video slots will now be available to High 5 Casino players across over 40 US states. These include hit games like Pink Elephants, Barbershop Uncut, and Sword of Kahn.
The deal, facilitated by Thunderkick’s existing relationship with Relax Gaming, positions the studio to expand its North American presence in the coming months. Thunderkick has been enjoying fairly rapid growth in recent years, and their entrance into the US market means they’re now able to compete against other iGaming studios who’ve also ‘made the leap’ into the world’s largest – but most regulated – market.
Thunderkick CCO Svante Sahlström described the move as a “significant milestone” that will allow the company to introduce its games to American players for the first time. He stated:
This collaboration allows us to showcase our innovative content to a wider audience and deliver an engaging gaming experience that closely resembles real money gambling.
High 5 Games, the company behind High 5 Casino, has established itself as a leader in land-based, online, and social gaming across more than 150 countries. The studio’s VP of Creative Jerry Wilson expressed excitement about helping Thunderkick make its US debut. He stated that due to the popularity of Thunderkick’s games in Europe, it’s a very exciting time for both companies. He believes that despite some games being launched on a social casino platform, they will do really well – and he expects them to become fan favorites “in no time at all.”
Sahlström appears very confident that the High 5 Casino partnership will prove successful and serve as a perfect entry point for Thunderkick in the US market. According to him, the company expects to announce additional deals with North American brands in the near future.
