Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas

One of the loudest and boldest casino resorts on the Las Vegas Strip has announced it will reopen in early October. Officials from Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort have revealed that the property will reopen on October 8th, although there will be limitations in place in relation to hotel stays.

The casino resort, which enjoys a central location on the Strip, was forced to close alongside other casinos as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Once it reopens in October, there will be a range of facilities that will be reopened at the same time.

Like other casinos, the property will have strict new measures in place to help reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Gaming Floor to Open Seven Days a Week

For those who have enjoyed spending time at the casino in the Planet Hollywood Casino and Resort, the good news is that the gaming floor will be open seven days a week once the property reopens. There will be some limitations with regard to gaming, and new protective measures will be in place to adhere to new health and safety standards.

The senior vice president and general manager of the casino resort, Jason Gregorec, said:

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is the centerpiece of the famed Las Vegas Strip, and we are pleased to announce the reopening of the hotel for weekend stays, along with gaming, restaurants and other amenities, at this resort on Oct. 8.

He also said that casino officials were looking forward to welcoming guests back and would ensure there was a focus on enhanced health and safety protocols.

While the gaming floor will be open seven days a week from October 8th, the hotel will be far more limited. For now, Planet Hollywood will only be taking bookings for rooms for Thursdays through to Sundays.

The property also has a range of dining options, and many of these will also be opening at the same time. So, those who visit the casino to enjoy some gaming and those staying at the hotel will be able to benefit from a range of culinary options. Those who like to shop will be glad to hear that the Miracle Mile Shops have been open since early June.

In relation to food and beverage facilities, there will be plenty for visitors to choose from. This includes Gordon Ramsay Burger, Heart Bar, Earl of Sandwich, Café Hollywood, and Starbucks, among others.

Debuting the New Sportsbook

In addition to opening its regular gaming floor, Planet Hollywood will also be launching its new William Hill Race & Sportsbook on opening day. The sportsbook has been recently rebranded, and a range of new amenities will be provided including self-service kiosks and a bigger menu for sports fans to look forward to.

As part of its new safety protocols, Planet Hollywood has introduced increased cleaning and sanitization, a health screening program for those working at the resort, and the issue of face masks that must be worn by all employees and guests at the property.
