Nick Schulman won his sixth PokerGO Tour title by prevailing in a $10,100 High Roller tournament. The professional poker player claimed a top prize of $283,050. This happened just weeks after Schulman won his sixth World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, marking both a good end to 2024 and a great start to the new year.

Triumph Against the Odds

The $10,100 High Roller tournament marked the start of the PGT Last Chance series and attracted a total of 111 entrants. Among the contestants were many other top-tier poker professionals, including Joao Simao, Victoria Livschitz, Bryce Yockey, and Matthew McEwan, to name a few. Thanks to his exceptional skills and bold strategy, Schulman managed to overcome all of them and claim the title.

This happened despite a failed bluff, which brought about mixed reactions from viewers. Joao Simao from Brazil came up second with a prize of $177,600, while Victoria Livschitz ended up third with $127,650. Bryce Yockey and Matthew McEwan were fourth and fifth, winning $99,900 and $72,150, respectively. Nguyen Le ($55,500) and Aram Zobian ($44,400) were sixth and seventh.

A Legacy of Excellence

This is far from the first big victory in Schulman’s career. His consistent performance in high-stakes tournaments has earned him a place among the elite players of the game. He’s had an impressive 2024 winning his 5th and 6th World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Many believe that Schulman will be inducted in Poker Hall of Fame in 2025, and we can definitely see that happening.

Nick Schulman checks all the boxes for induction (as do many others) and if I had to bet it right now, I bet he gets in this summer.

– said Hall of Famer Daniel Negreanu in a post on X.

Beyond the Table

In addition to being one of the best professional poker players worldwide, Schulman is also known for his rather impressive skills as a commentator and analyst. His insights provide depth and clarity, which help improve viewers’ understanding of the game.

Playing since 2002, when he was only 18 years old, he has gathered decades of experience and has a lot to share with anyone interested in the legendary game. His strategic thinking and ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of poker have kept him competitive in high-stakes environments.

A Career Built on Strategy and Insight

And while Schulman’s contribution to the world of poker is evident, there are many other worthy players. They’ve kept the game in all its variations as exciting as possible. Many gambling enthusiasts enjoy it at online and brick-and-mortar casinos across the country.
