Harrah’s New Orleans

Officials from Harrah’s New Orleans have announced the arrival of new facilities at the hotel casino later this year as part of an ongoing $325 million improvement project. The announcement came from Caesars Entertainment Inc. with officials confirming that there would be a new poker room and a retail sportsbook debuting at the property this coming fall.

A press release was issued by Caesars last week outlining the new facilities, which will be ready to open in a few months. The venue is more than two decades old, and the multimillion-dollar renovation has been put into place to make additions and improvements so that guests and visitors can enjoy an even more exciting experience.

More About the New Facilities

The new sportsbook that is coming to the casino will be a Caesars branded one, and it is set to span 5,700 square feet.

The sportsbook will boast four betting windows along with 12 self-service kiosks, and there will be seating available for up to 140 people. There will also be a cozy ‘fan cave’ area that can seat ten people, an innovative video and audio system, and a bar that seats 28 people.

Caesars Entertainment also provided details of the new poker room that will be making its debut at the property this fall. This will be situated adjacent to the sportsbook facility and will span 5,000 square feet. The poker room will be a World Series of Poker branded one, and it will offer access to 20 tables along with complimentary drinks.

It was further reported that the new poker room will offer a range of different poker games for both seasoned and novice players, and there will be poker tournaments held three times a week. The poker room will remain open 18 hours per day from Sunday to Thursday and 20 hours per day on Fridays and Saturdays.

Officials from the casino said that those who play in the new poker room will be able to enjoy a unique and exciting experience, as well as a buzzing atmosphere.
