There is much excitement over the relocation of the Eagle Mountain Casino, which is set to open the doors to its new property in May. Operated and owned by the Tule River Tribe, this relocation and the new opening is an important milestone for the company. It comes just a few months after the tribe celebrated its 150th anniversary of sovereignty.

Neil Peyron, chairman of the Tule River Tribe, said that he wanted to congratulate the casino and thanked all employees and management for their hard work and commitment. He added:

They are the backbone of our success. We are grateful for them and all our patrons that would drive the road to the reservation to go there and enjoy some of the best entertainment in our area.

The new location of the casino is next to the Porterville Fairgrounds in Porterville, California, and the move has generated excitement among city officials, including the city manager, John Lollis.

Lollis said that it was a very exciting opportunity for the city and the tribe and that both were working together closely to help boost tourism, the economy, and local branding, among other things.

What the New Venue Will Offer

There will be plenty on offer at the new facility, which is double the size of the previous one. It will span more than 100,000 square feet and come with a range of dining facilities, 1,750 slots, around 20 table games, and a huge event center with 2,000 seats.

The wide range of dining facilities at the property will cater to all tastes and preferences. There will be a 24-hour diner, a coffee house, an award-winning steakhouse, and the Redwood Taphouse. The latter has more than 200 seats to accommodate guests and will also have two dozen slot machines in the bar area.

Matthew Mingrone, general manager at Eagle Mountain Casino, spoke out about the new opening. He congratulated both the Tule River Tribe and the Eagle Mountain Casino on the opening of the new property. He described the move as a real accomplishment for both parties.

New Opportunities and Benefits

There will, of course, also be new job opportunities because of the relocation and the larger size of the new venue. According to reports, the newly opened property will employ more than 1,000 members of staff, which includes employees in a range of departments and sections.

In addition to this, it means that tourism in the area will be boosted, which will provide numerous benefits for the city as well as for other local businesses. With the size and amenities of the new venue, many people will be eager to visit and explore, and this could mean a huge boost for the local economy.

There will also be huge benefits for local vendors, and Eagle Mountain has chosen a range of vendors who have local ties to provide supplies. These include vendors for meat, lighting, chocolate, entertainment, and business supplies. According to reports, the range of suppliers has been chosen not just due to their local ties, but also their alignment with the vision and culture of the tribe.
