Harrah’s Columbus Opens in Nebraska

The opening was attended by representatives from Caesars, Columbus Exposition and Racing, and the local community. It involved a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony, giveaways, and a variety of festivities.

According to reports, visitors received commemorative Harrah’s shirts as they enjoyed the excitement of the event and spent time exploring the property. The grand opening means that locals and visitors to the area can look forward to a host of entertainment and gaming thrills as well as a wide range of facilities and amenities.
What the Property Offers
Harrah’s Columbus, NE Racing & Casino boasts a sprawling 17,000-square-foot casino equipped with 400 state-of-the-art slot machines and 11 exciting table games. The property also caters for sports fans with the Caesars Race & Sportsbook, which offers a spacious 2,100-square-foot sports and simulcast betting area.
The sportsbook at the new venue comes with 17 viewing screens, including a huge 163-inch video wall. Officials said that it will provide an unparalleled sports viewing experience for sports enthusiasts. The grand opening marks the introduction of Caesars Sportsbook’s sports wagering operations in Nebraska.

He added that company officials were delighted to be part of the occasion, and to be there with partners and friends as they celebrated what he was confident would be a bright future in Nebraska.
Apart from gaming, guests can look forward to culinary delights at Brew Brothers, the award-winning restaurant established by the Carano family in 1995. Another option is Wishbones, which is an on-site bar that provides a vibrant atmosphere for those looking to relax and socialize.
Officials said that developments are underway with the construction of the Marriott Fairfield Inn and Townplace Suites adjacent to the casino. These developments are set to be completed later this year.
Excitement for Racing Fans
In partnership with Columbus Exposition and Racing, Harrah’s Columbus, NE Racing & Casino is set to become the hub of racing excitement with its one-mile racetrack, which is the longest in the state. Racing fans can look forward to 15 live races every Friday to Sunday from August 16 to September 15, along with a special race on Labor Day.
It is reported that there will be Grandstand seating for all ages and in-person and kiosk betting for those aged 21 and above.
Harrah’s Columbus, NE Racing & Casino is also part of Caesars Entertainment’s Caesars Rewards network. This means that guests will be able to earn and redeem Reward Credits at the new destination, which provides access to a wide range of benefits at Caesars Entertainment’s 50+ properties across North America.
