Grand Launch for Permanent Hard Rock Casino

It has recently been announced that the grand launch of Hard Rock’s permanent casino in Illinois has been set for the end of August.

The casino giant will be closing its temporary casino, Rockford Casino: A Hard Rock Opening Act, in August, and the new permanent facility is scheduled to open its doors on August 29th, 2024. The temporary casino is located at 610 N. Bell School Road and the permanent one will be situated at 7801 E. State Street.

The transition from its temporary facility to an exciting new permanent one marks an exciting milestone for Hard Rock. The new facility will offer a host of facilities for guests and visitors to enjoy and will create a thrilling new entertainment venue for both local residents and those visiting the area.

With the temporary facility having generated an impressive amount of revenue since opening in November 2021, officials have very high hopes for the permanent venue.

What Patrons Can Expect at the Permanent Facility

Details of what patrons can expect at the new permanent venue have been revealed recently, with a wide range of gaming entertainment and facilities on offer.

There will be more than 175,000 square feet of gaming space, close to 1300 slots, dozens of live table games, poker facilities, and an onsite sportsbook.

The venue is also home to Hard Rock Live, which is a concert hall that accommodates up to 2000 people. In addition to this, patrons will be able to enjoy access to a range of dining options as well as onsite shopping facilities.

Geno Iafrate, President of Hard Rock Casino Rockford, said,

The Opening Act has welcomed over 1.5 million guests from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and more than 30 countries worldwide since opening its doors in November of 2021. The time has come for the Opening Act to become the headliner just down the street.

Jon Lucas, Chief Operating Officer at Hard Rock International also commented on the new casino in a recent press release. He highlighted the many benefits that the permanent facility would bring to the area as well as its positive impact on the state and community.
