Foxwoods Bingo Hall Opens

As it continues to celebrate its 30th anniversary, the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut is moving forward with its exciting expansion plans, which were announced some time ago.

As part of the large expansion, the casino resort has now opened up its High Stakes Bingo Hall, which welcomed its first players last week, with many visitors eager to be among the first to get a seat for the first session.

Foxwoods has stated that it wants to provide its patrons with even more exciting experiences, and the new bingo hall will be one of a range of new facilities that will enable it to achieve this goal. Before the casino opened its huge new bingo hall, players queued outside, showing the excitement present among visitors for the new facility.

Expanded Prize Pools for Players

The new bingo facility opening at the Foxwoods Resort Casino will offer bingo gaming five days a week, with two sessions taking place on each of these days. The cost of entry for games varies from $15 to $25, and the prizes can get to as much as $10,000 or $15,000 for each session.

This is something completely new that the resort is offering, and officials have expressed their excitement about it. Jason Guyot, the president and CEO of the casino resort, said that Foxwoods was thrilled to be offering the new bingo area which came at a cost of $7 million. It has taken around 12 months for the bingo facility to be created.

On its website, Foxwoods states:

Located in what was the Festival Casino space, the new High Stakes Bingo Hall will feature over 30,000 square feet of event space with more than 2,200 seats and offer higher stakes Bingo games and expanded prize pools.

It was confirmed that the two daily bingo sessions scheduled at present will take place at 10.30 am and 6.30 pm over each of the five days that the property is open.

More Exciting Developments on the Way

As the expansion at Foxwoods Resort Casino continues, there are more exciting developments on the way for patrons of the casino, with some coming as early as this month. These include the new VIP Canopy Players’ Lounge, as well as various new dining facilities.

Among the new dining options in the up-and-coming lounge are the newly designed Golden Dragon restaurant and Sushi by Bou.

Another very exciting development that will be added to the casino resort is the Great Wolf Lodge at Mashantucket. This will offer a host of entertainment options and will create a perfect facility for families looking to have some fun. Among the thrills that visitors can expect are an indoor water park and a range of other entertainment options geared toward families.

There is currently no set date for the completion of Great Wolf Lodge, but officials believe that it will be operational within around two years. In the meantime, Foxwoods will continue to open and welcome guests to its new facilities as they open.
