Electronic poker tables are starting to spread across US casino floors. Boomtown Casino & Hotel New Orleans will lead the way and start dealing poker hands without a dealer, with many more casinos around the United States following suit.
The Evolution of Electronic Poker Tables?
This has never seen before video poker. Jackpot Digital Inc., a manufacturer of electronic multiplayer dealerless poker tables announced on X (Twitter) that they will be installing two Jackpot Blitz poker machines at the New Orleans casino.
Jackpot Digital Inc. President and CEO Jake Kalpakian said in a statement, “We are very excited to announce this new partnership with Boomtown Casino.”
Kalpakian expressed much enthusiasm about the company’s future with this new kind of poker table. He added, “The company has more deals in place with three PENN Entertainment properties in Louisiana, and more casinos across the U.S. showing interest.”
Jackpot Digital Inc. has been installing electronic poker tables in tribal and commercial casinos in North America and some international locations. They have also partnered and worked with many cruise ship companies like Carnival Cruises and Princess Cruises. These electronic tables are starting to appear at casinos in California, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Oregon, and Washington.
How Do These Electronic Tables Work?
The game works in a similar way to an online poker game, except you are sitting at a land-based casino with other players at the table. The only thing missing from the norm is the dealer, here the hands are dealt electronically.
The Dealerless Electronic Multiplayer Poker Table uses a 75-inch 4K ultra-sensitive playing surface. The tables respond to authentic hand gestures which allows players to engage naturally with the game. The tables are set with bankrolls or player cards and when it is time to bet you simply tap the surface of the table. Once your cards have been dealt, you hide them like you normally would. The corners of the cards can bend to reveal the cards only to you.
A New Way to Play Poker
Dealerless poker tables are providing a fun and interesting way of playing poker at casinos. They are changing how players experience the game, combining traditional play with modern technology. Players have the opportunity to play multiple games at a time. You get the authenticity of live poker, but you can also keep track of your stats and bonuses at the same time.
These new poker tables provide an efficient and fun poker experience without the need for a human dealer. It is now only a question of whether both experienced poker players and newbies will enjoy this new way of playing the game.
