Ceasars Opens Branded Live Dealer Studio
Caesars Entertainment has launched its first branded live dealer studio in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is through a partnership with Evolution. The studio serves players at the Ceasars Palace Online Casino, Horseshoe Online Casino, and Caesars Sportsbook and Casino. A range of live dealer games is offered; players can choose between many blackjack tables, a VIP table, and one each for baccarat and roulette.
Features of the Studio
All the tables available are custom branded with Caesars Palace imagery and online casino designs. A few tables also feature co-branding with sports leagues. This new live dealer studio has great potential to offer an even larger spectrum of games in the future.
The studio’s mobile-friendly design allows players to enjoy playing from their mobile devices. A prominent feature of the studio is the ability for players to socialize and interact with their dealers in real-time. This makes the game feel more like a traditional casino experience.
Matt Sunderland, Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Ceasars Digital, commented during a press release,
Creating a fully customized live dealer studio with our partners at Evolution has heightened the user experience on our online casino platforms by providing a Las Vegas Strip-style experience directly in the palm of our players’ hands.
We’ve taken inspiration from the iconic designs at Caesars Palace to complete this world-class studio in Pennsylvania, from the legendary Julius Caesar statue down to flooring patterns and wall coverings at the destination. The result is an aesthetically unmatched live dealer experience that pays homage to our renowned brand.
Are Bespoke Live Dealer Studios Making a Comeback?
Whether or not there is a need for bespoke live dealer studios is entirely up to each operator to decide. Some may see it as a prohibitive cost, while others will see customized branding as a necessary steppingstone for the business to succeed.
Ceasars is counting on the latter. At one point, it was a trend in the industry. However, last November, we saw DraftKings shut down its live dealer studio in New Jersey. Although the live dealer studio has shut down, DraftKings still offers live dealer games to players. Instead of hosting the games independently, the company now sources them from a third party.
On the other hand, Caesars is set on creating a brand identity across its online offerings, which it has done by bringing in custom-branded slots such as Caesars Cleopatra. The company has also developed exclusive slots like Monopoly Millionaire, Wheel of Fortune Triple Extreme Spin, and Wizard of Oz, all of which are designed to evoke the classic casino experience.
Caesars is committed to creating a distinctive brand experience that sets them apart from the competition. Whether or not this will pay off is yet to be seen.
